Details of capacity to mortgage for one party:

• Includes in depth and full mortgage capacity information suitable for your FDR hearing.

• Includes details of capacity to mortgage assuming hard and soft debts remain outstanding along with any changes to capacity to mortgage if the same debts are repaid.

• Includes an Agreement in Principle from a suitable mortgage lender.

• Existing customers who have already bought our Indicative Mortgage Capacity Assessment receive a discount, paying just £250.

• The report can be based on any financial circumstance and used to explore how changes in financial circumstances might affect your capacity to mortgage. Additional scenarios are charged at £50 each.

• As experts our duty is to the court which overrides any obligation to the person instructing or paying for this report.

• All information provided will be based purely on lending criteria and our experience as mortgage advisers.

• The report will contain details of all information used to complete the assessment, including income, outgoings and any other important information specific to the investigation.

If you or your client have been ordered to instruct a single joint expert (SJE) as part of financial proceedings.

Important notes:

All of our reports comply with the requirements set out in the Family Procedure Rules – Part 25 'Experts and Assessors’ and for joint assessments our timescale is 10-15 working days.

• Our joint reports provide the same level of expertise and detail as our single FDR Mortgage Capacity Assessments, for two or more parties. This is usually the applicant v respondent, however, the report could also be used to consider the applicant v respondent plus the respondent's new partner, as an example.

• A joint instruction can save £99 in comparison to two single FDR Mortgage Capacity Assessments.

• In joint cases our reports allow you to mark any financial information of the opposing party that you dispute.

• Existing customers who have already bought our Indicative Mortgage Capacity Assessment receive a discount, paying just £400

For use at your final hearing when an update of the FDR assessment could be required:

• Our typical fees for an updated report are as follows: £149 for a joint report, £99 for a single report, and £75 for a 'No MCA'

• These fees are typical, however, fees are dependent on the complexity of the case. For example, multiple scenarios may be charged more. Therefore, please contact us if you'd like to discuss your existing complex case.

If your circumstances mean that you are in no position to secure mortgage lending, for example, you're newly self-employed with no accounts, unemployed, have high indebtedness etc, then this assessment is for you.

The report will include:

• A quicker turnaround time – typically three working days.

• Confirmation that you have £0 capacity to mortgage.

• Details of lending criteria confirming why you have no ability to obtain mortgage lending, and what changes need to be made or expected wait times before the situation improves.

Please note that additional scenarios can not be added to a No Mortgage Capacity Assessment

To explore how details of capacity to mortgage will be affected based on alternative financial circumstances, additional scenarios can be added to our Single or Joint FDR Mortgage Capacity Assessments.

Additional scenarios can be used to explore any change in financial circumstance, for example:
